A Pear Tree Grows in Ipswich
Mother's Day May 11, 2014. Mother Earth has blessed us with so much beauty. This is a pear tree that was planted by my husband and son maybe 18-19 years ago. It is really showing its magnificence this year. Appreciating the natural beauty around us this year in our special town.

Summertime in the Garden
The full bright sun has been shining down on our beautiful garden. The town has issued a no watering ordinance for this weekend. Thank goodness for the hearty shasta daisies. Blooming brightly, standing tall and such a beautiful tradional flower for this "Old Fashioned" New England Garden with modern features.

Garden Art Summer 2011

My garden is starting to explode this year. Incredibly beautiful traditional flowers are blooming all around our house. Amazing to watch the beauty as it unfolds. I was very moved by a letter I received from a young neighbor. She said, "You love your flowers, it is obvious in the care you put into their growth. I am an artist, I love beauty and I think your garden is the prettiest on the block. The variety and color inspires me....".
Could not have said it better myself! Love to be able to bring some artistic inspiration to the neighborhood.

Missing in action... where did our garden go?
Winter Wonderland ...the snow keeps coming and where is the snow supposed to go? My husband has been the hero shoveling all of this snow. As you can see it is a work of art for him to move and direct the snow. Did anyone say that they know why the birds head south for the winter? And what does this teach us? As John Lennon said "Life is what happens to you as you are busy making other plans."
